Real Construction...

Now for the real contruction...since Im not in the house as this goes on throughout the next few weeks, my posts will be brief with smaller updates as I am close to updated and real-time since my early posts of doing catchup.

Yesterday, work started on framing and removing windows. This is one of the first steps in the reconfiguration of our project.

In these pics, we have a window removed and being framed, removal of an old flue that was used for the old furnace (huge teracotta pipe loned with metal), and the framing for a new doorway to the backyard.

Carpenters are in full effect and changes in the plans from original config will show.

Exciting times and a huge milestone in the timeline.
